Dining is social.  

How have foodways( the eating habits and culinary practices of a people, region, or historical period)  helped create a sense of place or American Identity?

Discuss the Context of the dish including the Literary and Historical period of the dish’s origin.

Discuss the Geographic region the dish comes from. Discuss the Cultural significance of dish (How it is used in a
Rite of Passage or a ritual/celebration associated with dish).
Include anecdotes such as any family oral history associated with the food. 

2-page double-spaced typed paper with MLA Format Parenthetical Citations and a 1 page Works Cited list.  You must have at least 3 credible sources.
